any advice on new build
Hello All
New here, have spent the last few days reading all the posts. Seems simple enough to build. I think I have grasped enough to start.
First I need to buy materials.. But before I spend my cash I would like to know if anyone as any advise that they would like to share.
I already have some 6" pvc on hand.
One question I have is about the pump, I have a 3/4 hp booster pump 3450 rpm for a pool and would like to make 4 nozzles.
I would like the water to shoot 12-14'.
Is it big enough to power all 4 nozzles?
Any other advise would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
John

Re: any advice on new build
How many GPM is your pump? My nozzle came out to about size of arc with a 500 GPM pump if that helps.
For advice I would say that my biggest issues were with cutting the foam filter perfectly smooth so that no part was compressed which led to some of the straws being under utilized and making sure the cuts were perfectly flat so that there weren't leaks when I put the end plates on. With a pump that big you will probably want a flow restricting valve in front of the pump to not overwhelm a fountain and ensure each one gets an even amount of pressure. Will also let you play with how much your fountain can handle. If your flow is bouncy consider making an air cylinder cushion between the pump and the fountain.
