Hi Laminar guys Smile

After writing with John, he recommended that i joined this forum to get inspiration
and help regarding making these fancy Laminar fauntains.

Well im a beginner, and just started making my first prototype with first attempt not working at all. I'm sure you all
have the same story. Yesterday i got it nearly working with a small laminar arc.

Main problem for me is actually budget and finding the right materials. So please have patience with me. It will be a slow
start, and alot trouble convincing my wife into this project Wink

Happy that i found this forum, and i love all the videos you all posted on youtube, and its really cool, that the projects
is not total secrets etc.

I will eventually post pictures and videos and write about my progress in this forum.

Regard Steffen Webb / Denmark

Hi there and welcome Very Happy

Danmark, that`s not so far away from Norway cheers

About failing and testing, yes we have all been there.
That`s why I created this forum, so we can share what work and what does not work.

About materials and to get them cheap..
let me give you some ideas what to start with (I have just learned what to use and not) ..

But my result is this:

you MUST have 8" of pipe (did try 4" with bad result) \ Cheap PVC pipe that you can get at a hardware store. (concrete factory?)
And the length from 40-50cm
I have 700-900 straws inside to fill up all the space inside.. (I have Burger King straws with NO bending)
And I have a simple sponge filter before the straws.
But the output is the most important !!!!
You must have a V shaped output, go to a school\mechanic and ask them to make a ring for you with a drilled hole that is mechanic made..

And then you must have a water pump, I have a pump that is 4500 ltr\hour Smile

Welcome and good luck..
