Variable Distance Laminar Jet
Has anyone been able to control the distance that your laminar jet jumps? I have seen fountains where the stream moves and changes distance, and I would like to be able to do this. Perhaps there is a pump that can vary the flow? Or maybe a controllable valve that will allow you to vary pressure to the jets? Anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks
Thanks

If you have a adjustment on the hose after the pump this should do the job?
I use a simple adjustable screw to press the hose smaller so it make flow run slower.

Thanks liteglow. I do the same, but I am looking for a way to electronically control the adjustment, so I can make the stream grow and shrink on command.

Ok..
Maybe you can use a actuator on a manual valve.
Or find a electric valve.
