Water Pop Jet
I finally got through two water "pop jet" patents. They are pretty simply in design - since we know laminar fountains - and should not take too much to put
one together.
Basically it is a small (short) laminar fountain - with a "John brass nozzle" - then right above the the exit there is a shallow - refilling - pool of water that
the laminar stream must pass through.
The stream does not always run - the stream ( water amoeba as it is called) is turned on and off by a quick acting electronic controlled water valve.
When the valve is quickly turned on and off the laminar stream is produced exiting the nozzle and proceeds into the second water pool - there is "picks' up
more water and air bubbles which then "pops" out into the air.
Yeah like I need to build one of these now - second thought yes I do.
It will probably be more complicated then I think - how much water pressure is needed to produce a short laminar stream - whats the depth of the second water pool - how to refill the
second water pool - where to get a a quick acting water valve ( maybe a sprinkler solenoid - thanks John ) etc.
Lets get going on this!

Re: Water Pop Jet
Which patent is it? I've really wanted to build one of these too! I'm glad you found the patents for it. I was looking but just couldn't find them!
