Next project? how about marble ball fountain?
to complete the garden experience, here goes a nice sugestion. I really don't know how expensive would be a 0.5 meter cubic of marble in espherical shape, i just know it is realy nice, quiet, secure. Enjoy

Nice videos
They actually sell stones and fountains like this on the store here.
I was maybe thinking about buying one..
But I think that the laminar fountain was better haha
I consider to buy one of these :

I'm quite interested in making one of the mini shooters that is powered by compressed air. I believe one is shown at the first of the video on WET design.
I'm not very good at carving marble

actually you wouldn't make it manually, there are machines to do that job, the one fully automated are probably very expensive, but i think we can do it ourselves IF we think carefully the methods... i already added this fountain to my "ideal garden". thx

Re: Next project? how about marble ball fountain?
i did not find the mini shooters you talk about ?
URL ?
But I have a idea of making a small tank that was first filled with water..
Then the small 12volt compressor fill it with compressed air 1-2 minute..
Then the valve on top open, and the compressed water WOOSH out at high speed

The video is near the bottom of the first page of John's "My contribution to the group" thread. The Super shooter is what your are seeing before the video starts and is demonstrated at about 4:00 minutes into the video.
As I understand the operation, the entire device is submerged with only the nozzle exposed above the water. The device consists of a tube with an open nozzle on the top and a flapper valve at the bottom that will raise up and allow water to enter the pipe until the water level inside matches the outside water level. To fire the shooter, compresses air is rapidly released into the bottom of the tube which forces the flapper valve to close and drives the colum of water up and out through the top nozzle. When the pressure is vented out the top through the nozzle, the water again forces the flapper valve open at the bottom of the pipe and refills the shooter.
