Been cleaning up the laminar fountain after its storage all winter and made a small water shooter that operates off a sprinkler solenoid.
The water release is controlled from the same type of LED (RGB) circuit I use to control the laminars lighting system.
The plan is to have one shooter on each side of the laminar.
The next step would be to program the circuit to Bellagio the shooters to music. Maybe this winter.

Heres a sample video.

Got the laminar and two shooters working this weekend.
Please excuse the pulsation of the laminar fountain. All the fountains are running off the same pump.
So when the shooter go the pressure drops to the laminar and visa versa - a real problem - ideas?

I'm guessing your shooters are useing smaller diameter piping? Making your pump run two different devices at two differnt pressures? A pre-pressurized reservoir with a check valve would fix that. Easily made from a bucket with sealed lid and a innertube. Adjust the airpressure in the innertube until you derive the desired effect Works just like a well pressure water tank. Just a idea if it helps?
